By Sunup (“we”) is operated by Aras Zirgulis. This policy explains what we collect when you use bysunup.com or receive the brief, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Your email address, so we can send you the brief.
- Your standing orders: the sections, length, delivery time and format you choose.
- Your time zone, read from your browser, so the brief arrives in your morning.
- Purchase details if you become a member. Payments are handled by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which processes your card and billing address; we never see your full card number.
- Messages you send to hello@bysunup.com.
We do not use advertising trackers and do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Why we use it
To deliver the brief you asked for, to manage your membership, to answer you, and to keep the service secure. For readers in the EU and UK, our legal bases are performing our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running the service.
Who processes it for us
- Google Firebase (database and website hosting)
- Lemon Squeezy (checkout, payments, tax; merchant of record)
- Resend (email delivery)
- Cloudflare (domain and email forwarding)
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
While you receive the brief, and for up to 12 months afterwards unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
Every email has an unsubscribe link. To see, correct or delete your information, write to hello@bysunup.com and we will act within 30 days. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the brief before the change takes effect.
